We want to ensure rapid progress through Ulduar. As such we are looking to gauge the want of our guild memebers for this enhanced progression, of a limited time 5 night raiding schedule.
Note this is a limited time restriced change, we WILL NOT become a 5 night a week raid guild.
Our most likely extra night is Wednesday, this will NOT count towards attendance, but WILL generate VRP as normal.
if it's on wednesdays count me in. btw i got my pc back so as of next thursday i'm back to raiding! sry for the week and a half abcense :S

To go for Wednesday as additional day for few weeks would be a bit unfair to those unable to participate, as Wednesday is the 1st day of the week, meaning all farm bosses will be killed on Wednesday, and than remaining 4 days will be wipe feasts while learning new bosses. Rather go for Friday or Saturday I would say, however I personally do not mind Wednesday at all, just trying to put myself into role of those unable to do Wednesday.
Good idea btw to test guild opinion on this subject. We not using voting too often, so vote wisely all, as you might get what you will ask for.
Always look at the bright side of WoW... didam, dida, didadidadidam...
Note that we will count the votes for the teams so what you see may not be what will happen as ofc votes from nonraiding members wont influence the decisions for the diffrent teams.
Rather than adding more days we should use the days we have. We never needed extra days in TBC and I see no reason to add them now. Instead we should fully use the days we have and not go easymode and then have "rest days". If we really need a bit of extra time we can always reintroduce the extended sunday raids imo.
Extended Sunday will be added as well commencing Ulduar, at least that was my belief from the conversations held so far. Bear in mind no official statement has yet been made.
Rest days will certainly be off the calendar or very rare. Expect to see them towards the end of 3.1 waiting for 3.2 though (assuming we progress to full clears). The harder core the guild the more rest they take, they still run instances but it gets more casual, the better we progress the more we will approach that model. Why raid when you dont need to.
The focus will be on clearing all the content then stepping up to hard modes (10 of them to complete)
The initial extra days if enough want it will purely be to secure the first complete clear asap.
To clear the possibility of confusion
the proposal is not to add 1 more raid day definetly, but for a period of , 1 , 2 or 4 weeks . then it would go back to normal raid days. wich means at most is 4 extra raids.
personally i dont mind an extra day.
if we need one?.. well that depends on the point of view, the guild objective is trying to clear full Ulduar as soon as possible and climb a bit on the guild ranking of our server, and for that a extra day obviously helps.
Also the extra day will most likely not count for attendance, so you dont have to worry about that in case you cant come.

Who have said that we are going to have easy mode and rest raids in Uldar?
We are talking about Uldar here, the first few weeks of progressing thru Uldar. Nothing else.

I vote to be as we have been always, 4 days raid, just because im sure we will manage to do all dungeon before next patch we don't need to hurry, and by other side i won't be able to assist 5 days even so...

as a side note, this poll should be hidden, cause if you are not signed in you can see the results without making a vote

To add to my comments above :
3.1, expect ..
Lots of wiping, even if it doesn't need to be done to clear heroic, its an absolute certainty to achieve all the hard modes.
A full raid schedule for the forseeable future until we learn all the hard modes.
Much faster combining of the Progress and normal teams. We left it too long to start running more "normals" in the progress raid.
We are learning lessons with the new teams and will aim to learn more every time we see an opportunity.
