Would a Firelands normal clear get you enough items for the legendary castigator?
If so it might be worth doing that so we can have a full 4 day week in Dragonsoul

A normal run will be very close. I need 25 from 6 bosses. Normal mode bosses supposedly gives an average of just over 4 per boss with a possibility of 3 to 5 (weighted towards the high end), so a full run averages at 25 or 26. Heroic bosses give about 7.
I think if we can get 2 heroics with the rest as normal I should be fully safe.

To be honest, rather go for atleast 2-3 heroic bosses to ensure he can get it this week. It helps with Dps in progression fights and it no longer requires us to go spend time on Firelands. Otherwise kill 3-4 bosses on normal mode and save the last 2-3 to guarantee the 25th essence.
