Quite a few ppl now have a fair amount of experience in Naxx 10/25 and many of these ppl now have alts that are sufficiently geared for this instance so Im happy to see such ppl using alts. I will ofc be checking the gear and selecting a team that should be able to make decent progress, i.e has a good mix of experience and well geared ppl. To many undergeared players/inexperienced players and you will probably see me asking ppl to do the raid a favour and use their mains
Alts and Casuals (with good enough gear and preparation) may mean the difference between running a raid and not running it.

How does this compare with the 10 man official raid on thursday btw? I have signed up for both, but is it best to only sign for thursday, or will thursdays raid continue from where wednesday's finishes?

I would say sign for both for the moment, and also any others you are available for. I will try to work out what is best to do. Not sure yet whether if we ran one wed whether we would do a continuation on thurs or a new instance, depends on who is signed to some degree and how far you get on wed (if it runs). The goal is obviously to get ppl as many boss kills as we can.

I have had a look at signups this week and unless there are a few more signups for this raid, thurs & fri im gonna cancel this one so we have a higher chance of running them on thurs and fri. I will confirm this on wednesday lunchtime.

Let's always remembers, that the important days are our main raiding days: Thursday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Remaining days are optional. We all do need to take a day off every now and than to be able to maintain high attendance on main raiding days, so no worries Suxor or whever wants to take a day off.
Remember, we are 4-days per week raiding guild. The fact that we set up optional events for all remaining days does not mean you are pushed to sign: not at all, these are set up to let those who have a desire to go and raid.

Unfortunately Sod's Law has dictated that the biological samples i have been waiting to process all frikkin day are not being delivered until an estimated time of 18:30 (19:30 WoW time), which means that there is no way i will be back home in time for the raid
