Since patch 3.0 went live many of the addons being updated for the new game version seem to be part of some type of programmer contest of who's addon can clutter the addon loading/enabling screen the most.
Mods that used to be considered as only one single addon are now brought in versions that display sometimes more than 10 parts of themselves on the addon loading screen.
Quartz or ORA are prime examples of that behavior.
Does anyone know if there is a way to get that back to normal, with the new addon versions? Or am I stuck with an addon load list inevitably growing too enormous to manage effectively ?

I'm annoyed by it as well. I only use about 5 addons which are about 32 items I need to check. No idea how to make it more complex....

Considering that some are addon-specific libraries, I was thinking about simply dragging those folders into the one of the actual addon but that might not work (haven't tried it yet).

That should work. The separate library's have one advantage tho, they only get loaded once. On top of it, if multiple addons use the same library they always use the latest version.
