am i the last one who still plays with the wow default interface?

I run 1920x1200 and you see a massive area,
yes you need a graphics card that supports this, game seems to support just about everything!
If you find some pics of people running 3 monitors in wow its almost like a surround picture.
The real benefit I found is that there is plenty of space to have a portal like approach with all the edges having the icons etc.
Certainly do not consider goign above 24" is my suggestion, its borderline too big already. I notice I do pyhsically have to move my head to see some stuff, so getting a good placement for key things is actually harder!
Doh Ako have to prolly rethink when i buy new hardware lol. I play on a 21" CRT (EIZO) which is still very sharp and good, but the option to have realy more gameworld on my screen is...nice
Seems the time I havent updated my hardware know-how was a bit too long.
Will get some screenies of what I fit and where on mine when I can. Its a little untidy as my graphics card is struggling a little so Ive got a decent black band along the bottom which helps the framerate a little.
Dont think the 8800GTX that was delivered this morning is going to struggle that much hehehe
I'm not a computer wiz so what do ya mean when you say extract? ^^
I only know how to load the normal addons
EDIT: nvm, my bro showed me, thanks anyway and again lith
Im trying to stop using CTMOD and I am struggling to find a set of mods that allow me what I am after ^^
I want to be able to show all bars
I want to be able to move anything anywhere
I want to be able to hide stuff I dont want like xp bars
I need MT targets and ability to pull 25 simple raid names into position so I can see who is alive
I want to have button cooldowns shown
Now I have played with Bartender3 a bit and its seems ok bu is hiding the lag meter and making a few other things tricky to sort out
Ive found a mod to do the move anytjing pretty well, but its only for stuff like minimap and not really fro messing wit the bars, but its having issues withbartended hiding things!
So ayone got any ideas on a mod similar to CTMOD.
I also like the portal approach in having a black bar at the bottom so chat etc are a lot clearer but i can live without this if I need to. (Can try CTviewport if everything else is setup to see if I can use that aspect without ruining anything else)
Looks like you are running a addon wher eu can see what spell each of the other healers are casting atm. Is that so and what is the name of the addon then?
Would like to know for my alt where I used to use Forecast but it stopped working with tbc I think.
Certainty of death. Small chance of success. What are we waiting for!
Ako, i find that using several mods is the best and easiest way to do things. You should try titanpanel out. You've probably seen it, it's that thing that shows a little bar across the top of the screen and tells you whatever you want to know there like the lag meter and dura and stuff. (crag's got it on his original post)

No Feral I stopped using those type of mods for a simple reason : When I look what others healers are doing I noticed I started to cancel spells because others were doing them, anyway it led to a nr of wipes and me concentrating more on other healers than tanks so i dumped it. Didn't like the type of mod and don't use it any longer.
Tried Bartender didnt like it, found that flexbars is back and omg thats good.
So im using flex bars atm, little tweaking to do, but should have my UI sorted this week.
Have put all my key tanking skills in a nice 4x4 box nearly mid screen, works great, just need a little tweaking to get the boxes in the optimum layout so the most used and emergency skills are all near each other.
Still using hotkeys, but also mouse is an option as they are so close togther

@ Thu, 02/08/2007 - 13:09
Yeah widescreen. Usually 1680x1050, but that screenshot was taken in windowed mode running at 1440x900.

@ Thu, 02/08/2007 - 15:29
BTW the screenshot looks lile wow is supporting this widescreen thing meaning u actually can really see more of the gameworld, is that true ?
And ur gfx card supports this 1680*1050 also.
So both card and game need to support this resolution to get a screen like urs, correct ?
