IMO he sounds like he's been comentating to international audiences for some time and has recieved quite a few complaints over the years from people who can't understand his accent, therefore he is enunciating much much more than most people do
I guess thats what makes his accent sound over exagurated

I found the dance weird, but that's just me I guess. I think most of the other character dance styles suit better to what they are and are better put together.
That said, I think they should have taken the moves from bad romance instead of pokerface if they really had to take anything from lady gaga.
