Could one of our disc priests post their GRID layout, with an explaition of what they show where. My priest is almost 80 (another 2 weeks maybe) and so going to need a workable UI to gear him up.
I like how you have used the spell icons instead of the standard blocks.
I am currently using the border to show shield/weakened soul on my druid. If a person has PW:S its white and if they don't have shield but have WS its brown, which seems to work well, but does mean i have no idea if someone with PW:S has WS or not.
Afaik it's an addon Sent, it's called GridIndicatorSideIcons
At least that's what I use.
I have PW:S Showing in one corner and Weakened Soul in another, Divine Aegis I don't monitor although I could.
Will see if I can find a screenshot showing it.

Yeah i have the addon already, and use it for showing raid debuffs (right hand side), i reserve the middle for the number of stacks of the debuff. Just never thought about using it for HoTs.
Kind of like the coloured squares that change colour as it runs out, so probably keep them. The icons just look good.
Well since I mainly use it with my Disc priest I only have PW:S and Weakened Soul showing at all times.
Can be annoying when playing another class but you get used to it.
The centre icon is still reserved for boss-specific debuffs etc.

I dont use GridIndicatorSideIcons but simply mark a corner with a colored square for a specific buff. I like this because its very easy to see rather then a very small icon.
Top left (TL) hand corner is green if there is still something left on the shield and yellow if nothing is left but Weakened Soul is up. Side left (SL) shows the amount left on the shield (if TL is green) or time left on Weakened Soul (if TL is yellow). This is a very compact way of showing the shield status and all u need to know if its up and when it can be refreshed. Only thing it dosnt show is when it runs out if its not used and that should not be a problem because it simply means you shielded someone that didnt need it.
Bottom left (BL) is used to show if Inspiration is up with a blue color or if Divine Aegis is active with a purple color. Divine Aegis has priority if its up because it also means that Inspiration is up as Inspiration is up for a shorter time. Divine Aegis might not be super important to show but when choosing heal targets it is good to know who has already some protection and how much.
TR, SR and BR are used for other buffs and especially for boss specific stuff.

I am not a full time disc priest, but my grid layout is the same for holy and disc.
I have PW:S and weakened soul in the top left corner as you can see on the picture. Inspiration in the bottom left corner.

yeah, what Karei said, and there's not really any point in monitoring divine aegis.

My setup is the following in grid:
TL --Name--- TR
SL -- buff --- SR
BL --hp def-- BR
Top left (TL) hand corner is green if there is still something left on the shield and yellow if nothing is left but Weakened Soul is up. Side left (SL) shows the amount left on the shield (if TL is green) or time left on Weakened Soul (if TL is yellow). Sent you asked the other day what Grid addon I used to divide the Frame up with. I use GridIndicatorSideText and it has just been updated.
