Just read through the forum post. They are actually calling us undeserving of the realm first and said that at least the raiding ones go to the deserving guild(them)

Yep, when I left for Italy we were atleast a level and a half in front of the next guild, all thanks to us not missing a single days cap and getting that essential days lead on all but 1 guild.

We all have a lot of respect for you guys over at QE and what you acheive on the raiding front. We don't compete on to the same level as you guys on that front.

Vigi is a more social raiding guild and this achievement suits us, as we have a lot of raiding and non raiding members and they all joined together to achieve it.

Let us have our little moment to shine, we don't get to have them very often.

We wish you luck getting your final hardmode kill.

You are most welcome my friend you probably did kill them before I even set foot in MC, but my achievement was not killing them it was working with others the likes of Stellvia, Michael, Coldheart, Papa, Crypta to build a guild that could at least progess in a raid.

Raided with you for quite a while back in SSC etc, you used to be a decent person - what happened? Nowadays you're just full off piss & vinegar, a shame really.

The internet allows anyone to act in whatever way they like (to a certain extent) without worrying about consequences, behind (picking a random number here) 70% of all trolls and seemingly stuck up jerks on the internet is usually just a normal guy/girl who likes to use that anonymity to enjoy themselves.

If there's anything I've learned from the internet its never take anything seriously, chances are that any insult you see on the net or in game can be chalked up as someone making a joke and the punchline being that you take it personally

Might've been Synergy where we started raiding, not 100% sure..might've been AS as well, really can't remember as it's years ago.

Reckon the whole point I'm trying to make is that it's incredibly easy to create an image, living with it or better yet...getting rid of it is hard - think about it. Also, in the end even a great wall will start to crumble under its own weight, just a matter of time.

It was great fun to work together as a whole to achieve this. The whole hour that followed was just awesome laughs and fooling around Riding the lions into Oggrimar, whilst being scouted by horde on flyers, following our line straight into the AH and aoe-spamming it while popping our banners was a truely epic once-in-a-WoW-time-experiance ^^

We had at least two resets, I remember, and if QE or whoever have gotten more, though luck for them..

Im considering writing Blizzard to get an official statement, because Im actually not enjoying us getting a server first if we indeed didnt deserve it... I although strongly doubt that Blizzard would make a mistake like that...

I also think that we have a lot more casuals than QE, boosting our general XP a whole lot more than them farming hc bosses (i dont know if they like us have about 40 people online every night leveling doing quests ect., other than the people raiding, its just not my impression )

No matter what, gz to us for being server first, the performance was outstanding and the team work was great

Quick recap : First possible date to get 23 (removal of the cap) was on the 4/4-2011.

Gasp! OMG! we got level 23 on that date, so all the other guilds have missed there daily caps at some point. To back the date even more up, look at all the guilds making lvl 25 on the fourth and fifth of April, I very much doubt that Blizzard made an uniform mistake like that!

Can we just enjoy this and forget all the childish complaints now.

The great thing about the achievement is it truly is a guild achievement. Everyone who logged in since Cata made a contribution, even if they just did one small quest . I am sure it was a close call reaching or not reaching the cap on some days. Every bit helped.

Now go and get that lion those who haven't already!

ps: don't ever doubt the legitimacy of our achievement people. Other guilds didn't fall 2 or more days behind "because of a slipped reset half a day into cata" or anything the likes. (Besides I know for a fact that we had at the very least 3 of those resets, I personally witnessed them.)
Don't bother with those expressing their jealousy in all their weird ways, don't gloat over them either though. But, by all means, enjoy the moment, enjoy the reward for all the efforts made, it is well deserved.

Come on guys, don't spoil this. We deserved it and a slap on the back for every member of the guild, raiders, officers and casuals alike.

We haven't decided on a location yet nor a time so yeah you can set one up if you want.

This will be my last comment on the matter; I made a post yesterday concerning the childish rants of some people towards Vigilantes, and I'm happy to note they stopped afterwards.

What Garck posted _is_ correct, and you'll find that I posted something similar on the forum 12 hours before Garck posted it. April the 4th is the first legitimate day that anyone who didn't suffer the second rep reset that we did, could achieve the Level 25. It's fundamentally that simple. Vigilantes got the Realm First achievement legitimately, and put alot of hard work in to the achievement.

Now, what leaves a sour taste in the members of QE, is that due to the famous 'second reset' that was for different guilds, we never got a chance to compete on the field; I made the calculations on December 10th, and equated the first day we could ding would be April 6th; three days after the expansion came out.

Consider that people aren't flaming Vigilantes as a whole, just the system; a system that didn't allow a guild that was eagerly awaiting some form of competing achievement, to compete. Frustration speaks out, and what you saw was the first page of the forum. Again, it's nothing against Vigilantes, just frustration against Blizzard as a whole.

Concerning the pieces wrote here; about tickets - I can assure you, that I became the bane of GM's for most of January, as did most of QE, with the amount of tickets we had opened. We were generally fucked about by GM's - Dpjones's ticket was the best, a GM looking 'firmly' in to the matter, closing the ticket, and never being heard from again. They had confirmed that we never missed the cap on a day; but our experience is shared with a high proportion of guilds.

Blizzard, simply put, could not reset individual guild's XP, or boost a guild's XP to what it should be. They say it's a limitation in the system; but we know it's possible, hence the evident pouring of frustration.

It's not also this; we must have spent over 150k on the Realm First! Working as a Team achievement, legitimately achieved this on the 16th of December; only to find three months later, AIAO was given the realm first (and ours still exists) for some bizarre reason by a GM. It's just frustration at Cataclysm.

Now I've had a chance to basically copy my thoughts over for the forum, I hope this can end the emo drama, and allow Vigilantes to focus on their achievement, something they enjoyed. It would have been nice to be able to compete, but it's Cataclysm; the worst expansion for Blizzard so far (Pre-nerf Maloriak, V+T anyone?)

JM: Not to keep the drama going but a "Gz, but sorry noone could compete with you" is just not cool We had 3 guilds right up our ass before hitting the lvl 23, and when we hit lvl 23, we had people chainrunning instances, none of the others did.. We have been same lvl as you guys, and one aheard some days, so saying you could only get it 3 days after us, is imo weird, how can we have been on the same lvl most of the time then? I still vote you didnt reach the cap, and the victory of another guild taste sour in your mouth...

I haven't seen any evidence anywhere that you guys didn't miss your daily target on one day. Stop complaining and move on.

My last say on the matter.

In my edit of my above post, I pointed out that I chose to come to this forum because you are all attempting to prove the moral high ground on some nature. I am merely here to explain what happened on our side; and why people are so frustrated.I have came and put forward the truth as to what happened to QE; take it, or move on. I have also silenced the flames on the official forums. If you want to go ahead and accuse us of faking it or whatever - fine. Whatever makes you sleep at night. I am glad that there are a core of Vigilantes members who can appreciate why members of my guild are frustrated (and coincidentally took it out on you), but replies such as "Stop complaining and move on" are fuel to the fire. The guild has already moved on; I am just attempting to mend the fence, as it were, because it's my guild, and therefore, I have no desire to see unncessary flame.

That being said, the final thought; grats to Vigi for the achi, the hell with Blizzard, and carry on with attitudes of goading and general QE bashing, and it will. I don't care whichever. I lost my motivation for Realm Firsts when they became without a title (bye T9 :<)
