The ring is where the lock is standing and the X is where i had to stand (behind that pillar)to be able to get him in line of sight to kill him.
After i had capped IB tower i wonderd why Galv wasnt dead yet so i went there to check, what i found was that everyone was dead exept 2 pallas outside and this lock standing on that little platform. When more people came there and started to attack Galv he spammed SoC into the crowd and i guess that is what spoiled the first try to kill him. Good thing was that he was easy to kill once i found that spot 
but ofc we lost that AV.

Exact same thing happened to me yesterday.
We had just killed the Captain and were running out when I got hit by a frostbolt in the back and thought 'what the...?'.
I couldn't spot the mage until he shot another bolt at me and then I couldn't get into range before he disappeared.
That really is a nasty hiding spot to spoil an attempt on Galv, especially for a lock with SoC.

u can get up the wall there in the corner it takes a while to do it unless u done it alot use to do with my old horde hunter did'nt know they had'nt fixed it if u go in close anuff as a hunter u can shoot him up there easy anuff
