I managed to get Sambas the 1st day farming for it, I spent 10 hours going up and down the path and managed to capture it in the part of TH where there are alot of wolves and deers. First of all to capture Sambas you need a good addon to trigger when the mob is available. I use NPCscan, it will trigger an alarm when a rare mob appears, put a box of the mob on your screen where you can just click it to target the mob and also put a mark on the mob. When you install the addon though you will have to delete the mobs Cache in your WoW directory as most probably you wil have already encountered Sambas and therefore the mob number will be saved in your cache (since the addons use the number Blizz has given to the mob design) Also if another hunter has Sambas out as his pet the scanner will proc and thus you will have to re-delete your cache.

While asking around to people in the TH zone that might have seen teh mob I got the following information. The time that Sambas will appear from when it has been captured killed in 12 hours. I managed to capture it cause I met a hunter with the pet who told me that on the day Sambas appeared at 8.00 am, tehrefore I had a rough Idea that it would re-appear at 20.00 that day, and in fact it did and I was able to capture it. I will surely informayou if I am in TH and manage to spot it but you should use the method I used and ask people when they saw it last so that you will have an approximate time to when it will spawn again.
