Quick Fight Notes

  • 3 tanks are needed here, one for each of the bosses
  • Dps only the empowered prince (indicated with a skull, red swirls coming from it and it actually has more than 1 health)
  • Empowered princes still do the same abilities, but stronger
  • Tank on Keleseth has to pick up dark orbs floating in the room to reduce damage incoming from Shadow Lance, the more, the better
  • Normal Keleseth: Special tank requirements, read above, no other special abilities
  • Empowered Keleseth: Shadow Lance deals more damage on the tank - nulify this by having a lot of dark orbs
  • Normal Taldaram: Summons flame orbs, targetting 1 player and dealing damage when hit. Kite these as far as you can. The longer is takes to hit you, the less damage you take
  • Empowered Taldaram: Bigger flame orbs - person has to kite these, other people follow these orbs to reduce the damage from the explosion
  • Normal Valanar: Kinetic Bombs spawn in the air. Over time these bombs fall to the ground, when they hit the ground every person in the raid gets a huge ~50 yards knockback. Direct damage hits make these bombs fly up in the air, keep them in the air like a beach ball until they disappear 60 seconds later.
  • Normal Valanar: Spawns swirling white vortexes on the floor. Never get close to these or feel a knockback
  • Empowered Valanar: Shock Vortex hits every person in 30 yards - every person around you gets knocked back for about 15 yards and deals damage. Spread out between eachother and ranged Dps try to outrange it


    Brief Tactic


    The hardest part of this encounter is not to get overwhelmed by abilities and hitting the empowered princes. It's not hard to memorize the abilities, as long as you try it. Keleseth casts shadow bolts on a tank with multiple tasks, when Dpsing this boss (when it's empowered) keep agro in mind. Taldaram spawns flame orbs, run away when targetted. Valanar does knockbacks; white swirls on the floor, don't stand in them; kinetic bombs, keep them in the air; shock vortex, spread out.

    As long as you know how to counter these abilities, this boss will die without too much trouble.

    Known Wipe Reasons

  • Kinetic Bombs hitting the floor and knocking healers out of range
  • Flame Orbs hitting people too soon and doing a lot of damage, move faster
  • People not spreading out of Empowered Shock Vortex, which leads to a lot of knockbacks in a row and losing range from healers
  • Tank on Keleseth getting 1-3 shotted. Keep the tank on full health and the tank has to pick up orbs very fast

    The Blood princes is the first boss in the third ICC wing.

  • Invocation of Blood - The Darkfallen Orb empowers a Blood Prince, granting him more formidable abilities. And making him susceptible to damage.

    Ability's Keleseth

  • Dark Nucleus - Summons a Dark Nucleus which causes Shadow Resonance. This causes the nearest target to resonate with shadow, suffering 1000 damage and reducing Shadow damage taken from all sources by 35% for until canceled. Dark Nuclei Dark Nuclei feed on their own energy, causing them to destroy themselves over time.
  • Shadow Lance - Hurls a bolt of dark magic at an enemy, inflicting Shadow damage.
  • EMPOWERED Shadow Lance [Cast when Empowered] - Hurls a bolt of dark magic at an enemy, inflicting Shadow damage. (10 times more damage then normal Shadow Lance)

    Ability's Taldaram

  • Glittering Sparks - Burning enemies for 14820 Fire damage over 8 sec in a cone infront and reducing their movement speed by 20%.
  • Conjure Flame - Conjures a ball of flames that flies through the air toward the target and explodes for a minimum of 10,000 fire damage in a 15yd radius on impact. Larger balls of flame deal additional damage based on size. Damage reduced the longer it takes for the orb to reach it's target.
  • EMPOWERED Conjured Flame [Cast when Empowered] - Conjures a ball of flames that flies through the air toward the target and explodes for a minimum of 10,000 fire damage in a 15yd radius on impact. Larger balls of flame deal additional damage based on size. The Empowered Conjured Flame also shoots out Empowered Flares, inflicting 1,000 fire damage to everyone in a 10yd radius. Damage reduced the longer it takes for the orb to reach it's target and how many that get's hit by Empower flares.

    Ability's Valanar

  • Kinetic Bomb - The bomb drifts toward the ground and explodes for Physical damage and knocking enemies back in a 50yd radius on contact. Direct damage is absorbed by the bomb and converted into energy, propelling the bomb higher in the air with each hit.
  • Shock Vortex - Creates a vortex of swirling force near an enemy target that inflicts physical damage and knocks back enemies within 13yds. Vortices dissipate after 30sec..
  • EMPOWERED Shock Vortex [Cast when Empowered] - Creates force vortices on all enemies within 30yds, inflicting Physical damage and knocking enemies withing 13yds of the target away.
