Quick Fight Notes
One MT and one OT needed
Raid should stay spread best possible throughout the majority of the fight
When affected with Legion Flame, start running towards a wall for the duration of the debuff
When affected with Incinerate Flesh, start running towards the middle of the room if possible to let as many healers as possible to reach you.
Dispel/Purge/Spellsteal(ideally spellsteal) Nether Power ASAP!
Interrupt and dispel the Fel Fireball
Stay spread and decurse to counter Touch of Jaraxxus
Take use of target macros for fast targeting Nether Portal and Volcano
Stay WELL AWAY! from internals at all times, at least 15yards away from any and every infernal
Save all Burst/CD's/pots to dps down Nether portals and Volcanoes.
Brief Tactic
Fight starts, MT takes the boss to middle of the room, the raid spread out best possible in the whole room. Keep a lookout for Incinerate Flesh & Legion Flame, if you get afflicted with either one make sure you do as your supposed to, healers be sure to heal the needed amount to remove Incinerate Flesh asap, anyone be sure to move right and asap with legion flame, Melee dps needs to be extra careful and quick on their feet. Mages/Shamans/Priests keep a keen lookout for Nether Power and take care of it, ideally have one/two assigned to do it. Watch the boss timers for when the next Nether portal/Volcano is about to hit, asap as it spawns switch target and burn it down asap! the OT picks up all ads that spawn. Tank mistress on top of the boss all dps help burn it down. Tank internals well away from raid, only ranged dps burn them down. Move ASAP if an infernal spawn next/on top of you! That includes the MT and melee dps.
Known Wipe Reasons
To slow burst dps on Nether Portal/Volcanoes, resulting in the raid getting overrun and healers not being able to coop with the extra damage
To slow removal of Nether Power, resulting in players getting one shotted by Fel Lightning
To slow or wrong movement when afflicted with Incinerate Flesh, resulting in not getting enough healing to remove the debuff that then will then explode in the raid
To slow or wrong movement when afflicted with Legion Flame, resulting in the player himself/herself or others getting killed by the fire trail.
Bad luck or slow and wrong movement in terms of the internals and their Aoe, resulting in players getting killed by the Aoe.
-Getting any deaths can and will most likely result in the raid getting overrun at the next Nether portal or Volcanoes, due to that with less dps you have less change to bring the portal/volcano down before to many ads spawn.
Heroic Ability's
On heroic mode other then the increase in damage and health, Jaraxxus gain two new abilitys and portals/volcanoes needs to be killed. The two new abilitys are:
Touch of Jaraxxus
-Curse ability that will be placed on a random raider, that raider will not take damage himself but will do damage to anyone within 5yards and afflict them with Curse of the Nether Curse of nether is decursable, Touch of Jaraxxus is not!
Mistress' Kiss (casted by the mistress of pain!)
-As the tool tip say, it will interrupt your next cast spell for 8sec in that school. there are a few things you can do to 'avoid it' as a healer
Priests: Cast a shadow spell to let it silence and lock out your shadow school letting you continue healing.
Druids: Nothing you can do other then to trigger it when there is the least danger of loosing any raider.
Paladins: Pop aura mastery and continue healing as normal, you will be immune to the silence from the debuff with aura mastery active
Shamans: Cast a lava burst to let it silence and lock out your fire school letting you continue healing.

Strategy
Lord Jaraxxus is a fight with relatively simple mechanics, but a lot of damage. Jaraxxus himself should be tanked in the center of the room, and dps should spread out as if for Kel'Thuzad. This is to avoid the chain lightning as much as possible, as this will hit for as much as 15,000 and arc to 3 people on 10-man regular. Jaraxxus will also periodically cast fireball on the tank, which will hit for 15,000, and tick for 6,000 every second for the next 5 seconds, so this should be dispelled as quickly as possible. This must be interrupted on 25-man, as it can easily one shot even Ulduar-25-stamina-geared tanks.
Jaraxxus will periodically spawn portals and volcanoes. Portals will spawn a Mistress of Pain, which must be tanked and burned down as fast as possible, as she will choose a random raid member, apply a Spinning Pain Spike debuff, pick them up and do 10 to 15k physical damage. Volcanoes will spawn 3-4 infernals, which should be tanked away from Jaraxxus. The infernals have an non-interruptable AoE which will hit everyone in about a 5 yard radius for 5,000, but they can be stunned. The infernals will also sometimes turn into a floating orb, hover over to a random raid member, and exploding dealing aoe damage in a small radius. Tanks need to pick the infernal up again quickly, or it will start killing raid-members.
Lord Jaraxxus will occasionally give himself 5 stacks (25-man: 10) of a magic buff that increases magical damage dealt by 20%, totaling 100% (25-man: 200%). Mages can (and should) spellsteal this buff as it will increase their DPS and make healing easier. If there are no mages in your group, priests can dispel the buff.
Jaraxxus also has a number of debuffs. The most important is Incinerate Flesh, which will be put on a random raid member (possibly an offtank) and which will absorb all healing on that target, till a certain amount of healing has been done (10-man: 30,000; 10-heroic: 40,000; 25-man: 60,000; 25-heroic: 85,000). This is not too much of a problem, as long as healers react quickly. If the debuff wears off without being healed through, the target will explode, dealing damage in a very large aoe, much like Vezax's flames.
The next debuff is Legion Flames, which will continuously spawn flames under it's target. There are two strategies for dealing with this, either the target can use damage reduction cooldowns and remain stationary, or they can run directly outwards. The idea with not moving is to not spawn as many flames all over the room. Not moving will cause each flame to hit you each second causing high amounts of damage over a short period of time.
This fight is also alot like Freya where all adds should be killed first for 10-man.
A fire resist aura should be used at all times during Jaraxxus, and any amount of passive healing or damage reduction that dps can provide will make the fight go much smoother.

Not sure where to post this, so here seems as good a place as any.
I had a quick look at the combat log after last nights ToC10-hero attempt.
From what i can see both the portals and the volcanoes have approx 10k health.
The typical 10 man raid setup has 5 dps.
I haven't played every class, but from what i remember they all have an instant attack that does around 2-3k dmg.
Would it be an idea for everyone to reserve their instants for the portals/volcanoes since 5x2k = 10k = dead mob.
Maybe a macro would help
#showtooltip
/stopcasting
/tar Infernal Volcano
/tar Nether Portal
/cast [INSTANT CAST]
need to replace [INSTANT CAST] with the appropriate spell.
On 25man version according to wowwiki they only have an additonal 1k health, and so the same approach could also work
